    Hi,

    does any one know how is a camera OS written. with what software can one write/edit his own camera OS.?

    it's prolly all in machine code.
    and is prolly programmed at the factory on a special rig.
    and you would need to get a copy of your camera os and maybe a decompressor for the file. if you want one to play with, I can send
    you a copy of the current canon digital rebel xt os file.
