Restoring deleted images?
hey all, this being my first post id just like to say hi =]
anyway, i wasnt sure if this was the right part of the forum to post this in, so ill post it here. anyone here know of any type of software [free or not] that i can use to get back images that i have deleted on my nikon coolpix 4300?
I have tried searching Lexars Image Rescue, but they were real shady about the whole thing and didnt offer any real detail as to where i could find it. Help on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

I have used this program ( Smart Media Recovery) before and it will retrieve your deleted photos from any smart media cards. Have you used the media card to take more photos since you have deleted the photos you you want to get back? If so you probally want get them back because the camera has written over the images on the media card. Here is the link hope it helps you out.

Photo retrieval from corrupted cards
FlashGuardian ( http://www.flashguardian.com ) will retrieve photos, movie files etc. from corrupted smartmedia cards, compactflash, CD-ROMs and the like, for 25 pounds (depending on card size). They charge nothing if they are unsuccessful, which seems to be a rare virtue.

I say go with Image Recall 3. Does the job well and the support staff is very friendly. If you el cheapo, like me, and like buying things at a discount, you can use the same discounted software website I bought it from. Here is the link to ImageRecall
