If it is Photoshop you will find a number of good actions that you may download for free right here at BytePhoto ¦ I think that you may find the Photoshop actions by Bud Guinn particularly interesting
Main download index > http://www.bytephoto.com/modules.php...toshop-actions
Samples of just a few of Ή¦Buds Framing Actions Ύ > http://www.bytephoto.com/actions/bud/bud.htm
Here is a sample of a thin black outline frame Photoshop 7 Action ’ ¦Thin Black OutlineBest Regards,

A stand-alone application that does framing well and is easy to use is Framing Studio. Google for its homepage.

Paul,
I tried another one of Bud's actions to download and the zip file seems to be missing from Byte.

I also use software by AUTO FX ,Dreamsuite and photographic edges. It is great! It can also be used with PS CS2.

I have developed BorderMaker. Initially for personal use. But since more people where interested in it, I have placed it on-line. Just type 'bordermaker' in your search engine and you will find several download links.
Besides easy framing, it allows for watermarks, text etc. and it runs on different operating systems.
Enjoy it, it's freeware. Just let me know what you think of it!
