    My new S5100

Hi guys (and Girls) I am new here.

Just got a Finepix and so far I am loving the freedom. I am no pro, but In just 2 days I am all ready seeing some great photos.

Does anyone know of a cable release that fits this model?

Lightbulb yes and no .. read on

I too have an s5100 .. I love it .. there is a fuji s5000 users group at www.s5000.net .. it includes the 5100 and 7000 too .. there was someone there that made a shutter release bracket for it and he was selling them for like $25 .. I am thinking about making one myself .. if you have any questions please feel free to ask .. not that I am by any means a expert with photography, but I do know my way around that camera .. enjoy ..

I have been shooting for a while but as of this year I decided to get a little more creative. So I am doing a lot of reading and junk shooting but I hope to come up with some really great stuff once I learn a little more control over the camera.

My wife is being very supportive as always so it looks like I am going to have a great summer.

Up till now I have only shot women for websites and have discovered that "that" is about the easiest photography there is. Now that I have been reading I see there is much more to learn.

Thanks for the reply. I did see the bracket you mentioned. I was hoping there was a professional version.

    newb question here ..

What do you mean by "professional" .. it allows you to bracket by various amounts .. the only thing that I can think of that you are reffering to would be "same shot" bracketing .. what I mean by this is it takes 0 adjust then positive adjust then negative adjust (three shots in a row) .. can you share links to your photos in web sites? ... good luck ..

"Thanks for the reply. I did see the bracket you mentioned. I was hoping there was a professional version."

I saw the home made Bracket for the cable release that was mentioned in the reply, I was hoping that Fuji or another company made one specificly for the s5100.

"can you share links to your photos in web sites?"

I am sorry, my other work would have no place in these forums, but you may e-mail me for links and or photos.

I did post some pictures last night in my gallery here.
