Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM
Hi Everyone,
The lens is in excellent condition, all caps, case, although I do not have the original box. I want $900shipped.
Payment will be made by bank transfer into my bank account, money order, check but won't ship until it clears, or paypal, then lens will be shipped with Fed-Ex priority.
If interested or any questions please email me at matthew-roach@sympatico.ca
Thanks,
Matthew

Everyone,
Beware of this seller. Seems like he could be running a scam. I got in touch with him about a camera he has for sale in a different forum, and he told me he'd ship it to me as soon as I wired the money direct to him.
I know that's a bad idea, so I emailed him suggesting escrow, and he replied 10 minutes later saying (paraphrased) "we can use paypal if you prefer, but i prefer a direct transfer. your security is knowing my bank account number."
I'm not so naive to think that you can't just change bank account numbers, or get an account to run scams from. Conveniently though, I also have a buddy that lives in London, ON (where this guy is supposedly from), so I emailed him right away suggesting I just wire the money to my buddy, and he trade cash for the camera, then ship it to me at my expense. More convenient for him, because then he doesn't have to wait for escrow to mail the cheque to him, and he saves the shipping charge.
Four days later (much longer than the 10 minutes it took him to reply the first time), no response. I emailed him yesterday saying "there is no camera, is there?" and still no response, so I felt obliged to post a warning. Of course, this could all be coincidence, but with the number of online scammers out there, you can't be too careful.
Oh yeah, and shortly after I sent him the "there is no camera" email, someone tried to email me a virus on that account that was disguised as a rejected email. Coincidence? Maybe, but considering I've never got an email like that on that account before ...
The good news is, I've only given him addresses of my junk accounts anyway, so I'm not overly concerned.
