    Canon S5IS or something else?

    Hello Everyone:

I'm looking for a camera under $350. Currently, I have Kodak DX4530 which I am using for last few years. Based on my previous history I used camera mostly during night time and this camera has not good picture quality. Therefore, I decided to replace with a better one. Currently, I am looking at Canon S5IS to replace existing Kodak camera. The reason for choosing amoung others are, it has 12x optical zoom and use SD card (so I can use my existing cards). Here what I am looking for in my second digital camera.

    - Better Zoom (Kodak has ony 3x)
    - Better result inside and night time i.e., low light (Important)
    - Time lag between shots less than 3 seconds (Kodak takes 7-10 seconds)
    - Use SD card ( I have 2 GB and 4GB SD cards, using with Kodak)
    - Around $350 (I saw few online store selling for $320-350)

I don't know if I have any other choice, any other brand Nikon etc? Not ready for SLR cameras. Thanks for your input.

See my reply to ColoradoMom about this. The Canon SX100 IS is less than $250.00
