canon rebel xt 350d w/ 18-55mm lens

Hi,

so I am a beginner photographer and i have a friend who would sell me his camera for 450 $ and it would include:

rebel xt 350d body
18-55mm kit lens (never been used)
tiffen 58mm circular polarizer
tamrac camera case
2 batteries
charger

Do you think it is a decent price?
He has the receipt too.

I would say that the price is pretty fair considering you are getting a few extras. the lens that you listed comes with the camera if you buy it that way. right now the xt with lens sells for about $480. The xt is an 8 megapixel camera so you might consider going a little bigger. I have an xti which is 10MP. the circular polarizer is nice to get although it probably isn't the best brand imo. if everything is in good condition and you really don't want to spend much more than the offer, it is definitely something to consider.
