Canon Thread, newbie with A70 in Digital Camera Discussions; Anybody else got the same I am very happy with my A70. So far using only in auto mode only...

    You should definetely use manual mode! I have the s400 and have used manual since I got the camera, i like having some control

    I just got my A70 a few weeks ago, my second digicam. My first was an olympus D-390, I only had it for a week before taking it back and going with the A70. Loving it.

    I went straight for the manual controls, it's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. I usually only set it on auto when I'm letting someone else take a picture
