    Cannon powershot s3IS newbie *edited*

    Greetings friends,


    I am new to this camera, i really love the detail of the pictures. What do i need to study first? I have a slight grasp of composition and scale. I need to know, where to i earn my hobby? Are there any articles you would suggest i read before wasting the time of everyone here?

    I am pretty sure it's a Canon Powershot S3 IS not I5.

    yes you are correct. it was dark when i entered that message and the IS was in red script so it looked like 15 and not IS
