CANON IXUS 500: Breaking the 30sec of video limit?

Hi

I have an IXUS 500 and a 2GB flash card and I would be really glad if I could record more then 30sec of video with 680x480. I’‚’‚…‚’‚…¾‚m not sure why there is a limit but is there a way to remove it?
