Canon Thread, what after canon a95? in Digital Camera Discussions; i'm a layman... and would like to get a new camera with better zoom than canon a95 (price around 300-350usd) ...

    what after canon a95?

    i'm a layman... and would like to get a new camera with better zoom than canon a95 (price around 300-350usd) . what should i buy?

    If you could swing another $100 I would suggest the the Canon S2 IS. It has a 12X optical, and you can add a 1.5X lens converter. I got one a few weeks ago, and love it.

    I bet you could find a Canon S1 in your price range thou. Pretty much the same camera, but with a 10X optical zoom.
