Old lenses with Digital Rebel

I have an old Canon AE-1 35mm camera with a few lenses. I just purchased a Digital Rebel XT and am wondering if there are any adapater that I can get that will let me use these lenses? I have read about the Tamron Adaptall adapters, but wanted to know if anyone else has done this?

Is there any difference between the two.

I have a 300D which is compatable with EF and EF-S mounts. Does this mean EF II lenses from the Canon film SLR like 35mm Canon Rebel G2 ( Canon 28-90mm f/4.0-5.6 EF II Lens ).

I am planning on an exchange of cameras and would get the film Rebel G2, and would like to know whether the lens that comes with this could be used on the 300D.

A photog buddy of mine had the Rebel G and the 28-90mm lens. It works just fine on the rebel body. To my knowlege he has had no problems.
