I got my 350d about a month ago and i still cant put it down.
In fact i NEVER leave home without it, I'm looking for the next photo all the time which is making the wife crazy.
Since getting my 350d ive tried all sorts of photography including landscape, nature, macro and portrait. Its like my new camera has given me a new interest in photography.
If anyone has the chance to get one then do so as you will not regret it.
i've only tried one long exposure night shot but had no "burnt pixels" problem. are you getting this with all your long exposure shots?Would you please stand still so i can shoot you

Ive got one!
Hi all. Bought a 350D about a month ago. Fabulous camera! Very pleased with it, except for the lens! Found the kit lens to be 'soft', and the images i produced not as sharp as with my old point and shoot nikon 5700. I have a version of photoshop which i used the unsharp mask on to improve the pictures, which made me happier! I have just (literally) received a new lens, a 70-200 f4 L Series which I cannot wait to get out and try! I am hoping this lens will be a lot sharper with better contrasts, by all accounts it should.
I am re-learning photography, it was a while ago I used a film SLR, and am not very good, luckily my 6 month old daughter doesnt seem to mind me using her to practice on!
PS Im not loaded! The lens will take me a while to pay back, but I hope each and every successful photo i take with it will heal my wallets loss!
Take care all, as soon as i get a photo i am happy with I will post it for constructive critiscm.
Cheers
Tony J
