(Own a 20D also). 5 fps has been great for shots of my son at his football games.

Canon 20D examples
Just got back from our first trip using the Canon 20D with the 28-135 lens. The camera was wonderful to use and experiment with.
Trip photos from the 20D are in the Hawaii album:

I used a 2 Gb professional memory card and it took about 375 photos at the highest jpeg setting.

After a couple months now with the 20D, the camera is still amazing. The only hard part is letting someone else take your photo of you and a group. They usually focus wrong which can also have white balance issues.
All in all, great camera for my simple uses. Any other feedback?

great camera
just got mine today.
amazing, impressive from every prespective.
one thing i didnt know (my arrogance) that on these cameras you cannot use the LCD screen as the viewfinder... didnt know that... not a dissapointment since i never used the lcd screen on my F717 as a viewfinder.Canon 20D

My 20D has been nothing short of fantastic in the 4 months I have owned it! I did, however, experience a couple lock ups now and then, anyone know how to fix it? I have firmware v. 1.0.5.

How do you like the size of the 20D?
Too big? too small? just right?

For me, I love the size and weight. It feels like a "proper" camera should. It doesn't feel "cheap".
