    Digital cameras for beginners

    Thanks for answering my first questions so promptly. I have been on vacation (could have used a good camera) hence the slow acknowlegment. Now my question is how much money are we talking about for the Canon G3, and can someone who can't really load a film in a regular camera manage to use it effectively?
