    Custom White Balance (Rebel/300D Users)

Would like to read your thoughts on Custom White Balance for the DRebel/300D. If you have made a custom w/b what colour did you use? white, 50% grey, another colour!! love to read some of your on-hand experiences, and if you achieved what you were looking for. Or have you not even bothered to try it?

If you check out previous posts you may find that the commom item for setting white balance seems to be a "pringles lid"

    Hope this helps

Hi Woody, It wasn't that I wanted to know how to do it, but what other peoples experiences were, just out of interest. Thanks for the reply though. Regards [F.R.]

    Custom White balance

I found that unless the circumstances are extreme I can change it afterward pretty easily so I don't need it much.

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. I think the consensus of opinion is as you say...unless circumstances are extreme. Going by 3 replies in 156 views that's what most people think. Regards [F.R.]
