I've been spending some time reading through some of the posts around here and I have noticed that a few people seem to be talking about Dabs.com

Now from what I know of them, They used to recieve a lot of bad press for their poor customer service etc

Have they sorted things out now or are people still having trouble with them?

I have noticed that they have re-vamped their website a recently and they seem very proffesional but what are peoples views on them?

dabs new site (http://www.dabs.com/uk)

Hi
Yep I've used them in the past, but never again, had to threaten court action to get a refund, which did the trick.
Just my penny worth!!
Regards
Mike

I had used Dabs succesfully on many occasions however early in 2002 I ordered a computer hard drive online, they debited £71.61 from my credit card twice!!, and then ignored my email requests and snail mail requests for a refund, so I threatened court action if a refund wasn't recieved within 7 days, this did the trick, but I received no apology whatsoever. So no more business goes there way!!
Hope this helps
Regards
Mike

That is absolute madness and the least they could have done would have been to apologise!

I can understand now why you would never use them again but it's suprising that a company of their size has no effective customer service team in place as I'm sure if this problem was addressed they would have a really successfull business with more return customers!

Is anybody here using a flat-screen monitor and if so what model?

I'm looking to treat myself to one so any recommendations are most welcome!

I have a flat panel LCD monitor at the office and it is horrible for viewing photos. I use a ViewSonic E90fb 19" crt at home. It is much, much better.

That's an interesting comment as I had a friend telling me exactly the same yesterday!
