This shot blew me away when I looked at it. Its fantastic Buddy. Is this where you live? looking at it fromn my quiet little place in the hill, the hills of a fairly quiet city, I cant imagine what life is like in a place like this BUT I sure can "see" some of it thanks to you. Great stuff.

Thanks everyone for the praise. I was pretty happy to be in the finals last week, but expected one of the other shots to win. The story behind this shot is a little funny. I was at a business event on Nob Hill in San Fran. We had dinner on the top floor where the 360 view was amazing. At the end of dinner, I went down to my room, got the camera and tripod and set up while the cleaning crew was clearing the dinner dishes. I could not turn off the room lighting, so I put the camera behind some sheer curtains, looked at the window reflections - and then tried to place my body at the incident angle of the reflections while shooting from timer. Must have been a funny sight for the workers at the hotel - but I got the shot.
