What a nice Monday morning suprise!!!!
Thanks Ellen, Julie, Carolyn and Kevin. This was a little bit of a fluke. I spent all morning shooting the water falls below the dam at the mill, and took this one on a whim on the way back to my truck ("Gee, that looks cool"). This is actually the only shot I liked!

I must say, Byte has some awesome artists on this site! Just look at the uniqueness of the photos and the artistic values they have! Go Byte and all you great photographers out there!
This was an awesome 'whim' shot. I love how it looks like a painting. Nice colors and textures of the puddle. Good job Sambo!

Sam my friend.
I like the diversity of shots and styles you shoot. This breadth makes if fun to guess what will come from you the next week. I must admit, this one took me totally by surprise. The simplicity reminds us of the beauty in the simplest of subjects.Buddy

Melissa,
I admit that this site has some very talented photographers with very diverse styles. But not only are they talented, they are willing to share their knowlage and artistic visions to the benifit of those that a less talented and/or learning like me. Thanks for your comments and congrats.
Buddy,
1) Thanks for calling me your friend (-:
2) I try not to shoot any particular style or gendre. I love using my imagination to capture unusual or unique veiws of everyday things. This often "bytes" me, since I have yet to master any one style!
3) Thank you for your comments. They are always very honest opinions, with no sugar coatings. I like that. That's how I learn. Thanks for helping to teach me.

Hey Sam!
This is another well deserved win
It's great to see that there are so many people out there who truly enjoy photography and who above all like to share their skills, ideas, and open to criticism...
This site gives us a window (pun intended lol) on the world of photography and its wonders.
This shot is beautifull...both in its simplicity and in its colours.
Well done!
Keep up the good work!Last edited by kaelmike; Aug 16th, 2006 at 11:44 PM.

Thanks Mike!
I am serious about photography, but it is also the most satisfying and relaxing hobby I've ever had. I get up early every morning to go to work thru the week, and still get up before sunrise to take photos on the weekends. I'm either dedicated or nuts!
