Congrats :)
Big congrats on this image Ruth.
My apologies for not having commented sooner, I've been busy at work prepping for holidays.
It's a tuly lovely piece of work.
Gorgeous, classic oil painting feel. It exudes coolness, lushness, peace and tranquility. Your choice of shutter speed and aperture, cropping and composition is just lovely.
The eye is led upward and around the frame as if swirling in the stream itself.
Personally, (if this were mine) I would be looking to bump up levels to increase light in the darker areas of frame. I've referred in the past to Dlighting in Nikon's software...this leaves the brightest parts of your image alone and bumps up the darker parts. I would also sharpen just a little...
However, I voted for your image just on the way it looks now. So don't mind me lol
Beautiful.

Great win Ruth. This really has that woodsy look and tone to it. Wish we had "smell a view," one could easily sniff the deep woods.

Thanks Graham, Dave, Andrew, Tony and Carolyn
Glad you enjoyed this scene. I'm so glad I took a longer walk this Oct when I visited this place. Last year I went in the Summer on the weekend and only saw the first waterfall having no clue there were more. I spent probably 4 hours there in Oct, on 2 consecutive days, late afternoon the first time and morning on the second day. I hope to go there in the Winter after snow
A photographer friend of mine that lives near me and told me about this park has been going there for years for photography. When he saw my image he said, wow, I never took that angle before
Funny how everyone sees things so differently.
